As the only filters approved by mtu for use in mtu engines, mtu filters are tested to provide high quality filtration. Every component is designed and engineered to meet mtu’s legendary standards.
MTU filters provide high-quality filtration of harmful particles, prevent leaks, provide efficiency under differential pressures and preserve safe operation.

Function:
oil filter: Filters out metal debris, carbon deposits, and colloid from engine oil, protects moving parts such as crankshafts and connecting rods, and prevents wear and tear as well as oil circuit blockages.
fuel filter: Remove water, particles, and microorganisms from diesel fuel to protect high-pressure common rail systems (such as MTU’s third-generation common rail technology) and fuel injectors.
air filter: It filters dust, sand particles, and pollen in the intake air, protects the turbocharger and combustion chamber, and improves combustion efficiency.
Maintenance and Replacement Recommendations
replacement period
Oil filter: Replace after the first 250 hours of operation, and subsequently every 500 hours or in accordance with the MTU maintenance manual.
Fuel filter: Replace every 1000 hours or when excessive water content in the fuel is detected.
Air filter: Depending on the ambient dust level, it is usually replaced every 2000 hours or when the pressure drop exceeds 30 mbar.
