It’s very simple – green or yellow! The Volvo Penta engines run on green or yellow coolant. We sell it in concentrated or premixed form.
After approximately 2017, Volvo Penta engines using Volvo Penta yellow VCS coolant.
Both green and yellow have the same properties – they are non-corrosive, and their use in the engine will extend the operating life, prevent damage and downtime caused by mineral deposits and increased wear. But it is important to ensure that you use the correct coolant.

Note: Do not mix Volvo Penta coolant VCS (orange) and Volvo Penta coolant (green). They are formulated for the specific requirements of different engine generations and contain unique additives that are not compatible. Always use the same Volvo Penta coolant type that initially was delivered with the engine.
